adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a cnc machinist ii. this position is a temp to hire opportunity working a 4/10 schedule! this role is responsible to machine acceptable production parts by utilizing production equipment per drawing, dhr, and any other ancillary written instructions. if you meet the qualifications listed below or eager to work – apply now!
responsibilities for this job includes:
sets up and operate cnc (computer numerical controlled) lathes according to blueprints and specifications.
read and interprets blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation.
setting all tools, coolant lines, collets and guide bushings
observing operation of machine and verifying conformance of machined part to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as gages, calipers, and micrometers, comparator, tool makers.
understands and performs all work instructions.
on the job training of the cell operators and cell operator trainees.
must accurately enter all information requested into mrp/erp system
client would like to see the following qualifications:
must have 2 years of manufacturing experience
cnc machine operating required
must have a working knowledge of cnc programming
accurate, detail oriented and quality conscious
accurate, detailed oriented and quality conscious
must be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs
