financial reporting analyst, part qualified cima, acca or aca, up to gbp33,000+ study support the company: due to a recent acquisition a super opportunity has arisen for a financial reporting analyst to join the friendly head office finance team of this fast moving and exciting international business. with a reputation for providing a high quality service this is an excellent employer that is keen to invest in its employees, to encourage both personal and professional development. the opportunity: as the financial reporting analyst, key responsibilities for your own portfolio of entities within the group will include: timely reporting, ensuring each finance department adheres to the group policies and procedures. reporting of actual results on a monthly basis ensuring both internal and external requirements are met providing thorough analysis and understanding of key business issues. ensuring monthly reporting is successfully achieved in a timely manner and all queries are resolved. ensuring entities reporting is consistent with ifrs and group accounting policies, including support for implementation of standards. performing analytical reviews, ensuring that all variances have been analysed and adequate details have been provided. reviewing tax reports, making sure that bookings are correct and consistent with ifc packages. reviewing statutory to management reconciliations, making sure that explanations have been provided to support the reconciliations. maintaining and developing key reporting tools. the candidate: the ideal person for the financial reporting analyst role will be a finance graduate who has previously worked in a financial analysis role and is currently studying for cima, aca or acca qualification or a current studier who holds good analytical skills. as a good team fit, our client is looking for a hands on, competent and pro-active individual who is keen to get involved in all areas of accounting. you will have proven analytical and accounting abilities, gained ideally from a fast paced head office environment and excellent excel skills. good attention to detail, a confident manner, and the willingness to make a positive contribution to the team to ensure that all departmental deadlines are met, will be rewarded with excellent prospects to develop your career within the business
