personal assistant/support worker
york personal support are looking for a experienced support worker to provide one to one companionship for a gentleman living in fulford, york.
the role involves accompanying the customer to appointments, enabling and encouraging continuing rehabilitation at home, walking and attending sporting facilities, assistance with meal preparation and assisting the customer to gain basic it skills.
the role is monday to friday with 2 hours provided each morning and 2 hours late afternoon. 4 additional hours to be provided to allow for appointments etc.
applicants need to be a driver with daily access to a car.
good knowledge of basic it such as using ipads.
fit and active with an interest in sports.
the applicant ideally will experience or interest in the rehabilitation of adults living with head injuries.
part-time hours: 24 per week
