electrical engineer required for global manufacturer, 1/2 years experience would be preferred, minimum hnd.
hays engineering are working with our client who are a global electronics company based in glasgow. they are seeking the services of an electrical technician to join there current team.
the correct candidate will be educated to a minimum of hnd in electrical engineering, 1/2 years industry experience would be preferred but recent graduates would be considered.
the salary on offer is gbp28,000 depending upon experience, this is monday - friday role with flexible working hours throughout the week.
this position will provide the opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of electrical products and to become a specialist in the dynamic field due to on going internal training.
you will also be supporting contractors and internal customers .this position will also provide the opportunity to travel within the company's geographical offices located throughout europe as part of training and testing opportunities that will arise.
key duties
help build and maintain product data management bills of material and configuration modules within the erp platformsupport production department on any issues surrounding product build, accessory fitting and final testing in conjunction with production engineering/quality departmentattend uk and overseas customer testing of our products within enclosures as and when required.carry out customer training on the electrical products
desirable skills
understanding of electrical schematic wiring diagramsexperience of low voltage circuit breakersexperience of low voltage switchboards and control panelsgood awareness of ms office functionunderstanding of structured query logic /microsoft dynamicselectrical engineering qualification-hnd or above ideal or working towards.
