due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a new site environmental & waste manager. this is a senior role in the organisation.
role requirement
- experience of / holder of technical competence in wamitab or esa competency management system or energy & utility skill registration.
- responsible for site compliance of environmental regulations and liaison with associated governing bodies: environment agency, fire service, south kesteven district council and gas & electricity providers.
- compile quarterly waste returns. coordinate / arrange for waste collections together with associated waste transfer and consignment documentation.
- liaise with stakeholders / interested parties over environmental issues e.g., noise, odours, drainage.
- maintain site fire plan.
- management of site general maintenance.
- working knowledge of iso 14001:2015.
