we are looking for a head of business development – saas products, to focus on the successful selling and delivery of our impressive cafm products. this will include efs, occupier portal, cafm and helpdesk solutions.
this is an exciting role and represents an opportunity to develop the sales function from the ground up and recruit and build a strong sales team.
reporting directly to our growth and development director and working closely with the managing director. this is a pivotal role and will be well supported by the management team.
the focus of activity will be within the property sector, where we have strong traction and demonstratable success. however, the potential market is wide and will in time involve other sectors.
key activities
building and recruiting a team
ensuring we get the best possible team members through working closely with hr and recruiting agencies
nurturing and developing sales professionals
managing pipelines through salesforce and supporting the closure of leads
communicating sales performance to the leadership team
contacting potential clients in the property sector to establish needs and arrange meetings
working alongside the marketing department to ensure initiatives are aligned with sales requirements.
researching target markets to feedback into marketing initiatives
increasing the value of current customers whilst also attracting new ones
developing strategic and larger opportunities and preparing quotes and proposals
ensuring successful mobilisation of new business
personal attributes
excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand and translate customer challenges into benefits
excellent people skills to interact with staff, colleagues, customers, and cross-functional teams, and third parties
naturally energetic and passionate about new business

ability to work on own initiative and pro-active approach to problem solving

essential criteria
proven consultative sales experience in a cafm industry
at least 5 years’ sales experience
experience of complex business to business operational processes
ability to work on own initiative is essential
desirable
knowledge and experience of the property sector
