we are currently looking for retail assistant to join our team for immediate start.
pingo pongo was created with both children and parents in mind. we have a great collection of classic wooden toys, unique dress up, puzzles & games, arts & crafts and much more. we believe that children learn through play and have opted for a traditional take on toys, to support creativity and imagination to be at the forefront of a child's learning journey. we are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and positive individual to join our team.
working directly with founder, you will receive training within an encouraging environment and look to further grow your retail experience. this role has the opportunity for growth to store manager.
main duties and key areas of responsibility include:
- working with your team to offer great customer service, supported by brilliant customer service
- accepting orders and checking them off
- merchandising - at times with large quantities of stock
- gift wrapping
- implementing promotional offerings
- being adaptable and be able to plan and deliver operational activity under pressure
- positive, can do attitude
- retail experience preferred
