Lgv c driver (hgv class 2) - united kingdom, aldershot, hampshire

salary: £26,000 per annum

location: aldershot

our client is looking for reliable lgv c drivers to work on a contract working with the mod.

successful drivers will be expected to drive a variety of vehicles as befits the class of licence that they hold and carry out any reasonable duty requested in said vehicles.

duties will include transporting soldiers and other staff between barracks and training areas, supporting the transport of equipment, moving vehicles between barracks and various other similar tasks.

the client has an intense focus on health and safety and reporting of faults, so successful drivers should be professional and able to follow health and safety rules to the letter whilst on site.

ideal candidates will have no endorsements on their licence and will have a good understanding of the driver's hour's rules.

candidates who also hold a valid category d or d1 entitlement would be ideal but it is not essential.
