Catering assistant - united kingdom, chesterfield, derbyshire

my client is looking for part time cafe and catering assistant to work on a temporary/ ongoing basis, for a large organisation based in the calow area of chesterfield, that is easily accessible on most major bus routes.

**please note this position is due to start asap**

shifts will be 7.5 hours and can be over 7 days, if your shift falls on the weekend the pay will increase to reflect this and you will work around 4 shifts a week

shifts are generally afternoons - 12pm -8pm but you could be asked to work any required.

you will work on a rota basis and this will be confirmed to you the previous week.

for this job role you will be required to have experience in the following:

- serving of food and beverages to customers

- using tills and taking payments

- re-stocking

- working within a large team

- pot washing

- dealing with customer enquiries/requirements

- merchandising and date checking products

- using own initiative when required

- general cleaning of kitchen area and keeping the cafe eating areas clean and tidy

*** previous experience working within a catering / cafe environment is essential to be considered for this position and the role will start asap ***

food safety level 2 - certificate is an advantage, but not essential.
