full time, experienced gp receptionist required for permanent role in busy crouch end( north london- n8) practice.
to liaise with team members in providing a reception service
scanning and filing document
to answer enquiries from patients efficiently
attention to details
very good spoken and written english
to be able to work under pressure
receive incoming telephone calls, answer general enquiries and transfer or document calls and messages as appropriate.
book appointments and telephone consultations for patients.
receive and record requests for home visits
organise requests for ambulances, outpatient visits, social services and urgent test results as required by clinical staff
to provide cover for colleagues on leave. this will include cover for late/early shifts.
familiarity with emis is an advantage although not essential as training will be given.
