Site coordinator - united states, raleigh

adecco is assisting a local client in the raleigh area for a warehouse site coordinator. this is a 1st shift temp to perm opportunity, 6am-2:30pm monday-friday, $16ph. plus mileage is paid!

summary:

a site coordinator typically works within our customers manufacturing facility and may complete items such as the loading and unloading of material, delivering material to stocking locations, ordering and distribution of materials, and maintaining labels and rack identification. a site coordinator will act as a communication point between the warehouse and our customer site.

 

essential functions:

  • load and/or unload material upon delivery to customer site
  • deliver material to designated stocking locations within customer site
  • order material for customer site
  • distribute materials within customer site
  • maintain labels and rack identification to ensure the integrity of replenishment signals
  • monitor and maintain proper levels of inventory within customer site
  • maintain excellent housekeeping standards within customer site
  • act as a main communication point between customer site and our warehouse
  • communicate effectively to the customer and to management
  • participate in continuous improvement processes
  • engage in physical labor, including any activity which is performed by a customer site employee
  •  

    skills, knowledge, abilities:
  • experience with microsoft office: outlook, excel & word
  • experience with epicor
  • possess a customer focused attitude
  • possess basic problem solving skills
  • ability to organize resources and establish priorities
  • strong attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines
  • must be self-directed and possess a high level of personal organization and drive
  • possess excellent communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal
  • interact well with employees at all levels within the organization and be able to build and maintain positive working relationships
  • willingness and ability to be flexible and adapt to changing job requirements
  • ability to be trained to operate powered industrial lift trucks and pallet jack.

    job qualifications:

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • must have a valid driver’s license
  • must maintain a clean hi-lo safety/accident record
  • preferred: 2+ years of experience in a warehousing and/or manufacturing environment
  •
