adecco staffing is currently recruiting candidates for a contract to hire picker/packer job in longmont, co for our distribution client. this is a great temp to hire opportunity for a manufacturing position with a stable company. pay for this position starts at $17.00/hr. if you enjoy inventory control, packaging goods, and being organized, this may be the perfect job for you.
requirements for the picker/packer job in longmont, co are:
· accurately prepares orders on skids for shipment to specified customers.
· completely and accurately fills out all required shipping documentation as required by business, customer or regulatory body.
· loads/unloads trucks under the direction of supervisor.
· assists in physical inventory control.
· packages goods to ensure safe and undamaged arrival at destination.
· maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
· provides information to allow a smooth transition for other coworkers to follow through with in-process work during or prior to a shift change as required.
qualifications:
· high school diploma or ged.
· minimum 1 year experience in packaging or inventory control environment.
· ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
· have basic math skills.
· must have a forklift certification.
· have the ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, and walking through a large manufacturing facility.
· ability to read schematics/blueprints.
· have excellent attendance.
· have good attention to detail.
