what you will do:

  • improve quality management system and ensure registration to iso-9001:2015 and maintain compliance to 3-a and dcma requirements.
  • actively participate in and lead self-directed kaizen events
  • champion lean manufacturing
  • lead the development of quality tools / improvements for the current and future state value stream maps and continuous improvement plans
  • be highly visible to associates and promote hands-on, high involvement approaches to problem solving and quality improvement
  • support new product development quality requirements launching processes
  • set goals and establish quality metrics for the processes and production
  • what you will need:

  • bachelor’s degree (b.s.) in related field from four-year college or university; mechanical / manufacturing / industrial engineering or business analytical (masters preferred)
  • 5+ years of related work experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of management/supervisory experience (supervisor/management training certificate preferred)
  • interactive problem solving and mentoring bias that drives success by empowering others
  • experience working with auditing by external customers / regulatory agencies
  • standard pc skills (msoffice suite, erp, data analytics, etc.)
  • apqp/ppap experience
  • root-cause and corrective action expertise
  • solid understanding of quality improvement principles, rcca and six sigma
  • previous experience in leading transformation for iso certification
  • competency with project management and analytics software
  • demonstrated ability to effectively support facility audits conducted by regulatory agencies
  • ability to lead, drive change and develop others
  • ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
  • hoshin kanri experience
  • lean manufacturing certification
  • six sigma certification
  • asq certification(s)
  • pmp certification(s)
  • as9100 experience
  • ts16949 experience
  • must be u.s. citizen or green card holder
