Cash application specialist - united states, pittsburgh

adecco staffing is sourcing an experienced cash application specialist in pittsburgh, pennsylvania for a 4 month long, on-site assignment.

the cash application specialist will be responsible for accounts receivable transaction processing such as payment posting, unapplied cash resolution, and debit/credit offsets.
 

the role would suit a candidate who can successfully manage a large volume of transactions in an accurate and timely manner, while displaying enthusiasm to achieve kpis.

 

responsibilities include:

process all bank receipts in a timely and accurate manner

investigate and resolve any discrepancies

ensure sufficient documentation is maintained to post all payments and maintain transaction reconciliation

liaise with the internal credit/collection teams to discuss any complex unallocated payments

contact customers to secure missing payment remittances

ensure the performance of tasks is carried out in line with company policies

 

requirements & qualifications:

high school diploma or higher

proficiency in processing high volume cash posting transactions

experience in troubleshooting and resolving transactional issues

proven attention to detail and accuracy

ability to interact effectively with colleagues and management

relevant oracle software application proficiency strongly preferred

 

schedule:

monday through friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

 

pay:

$18.00 to $21.00 per hour (based on skills and experience)
