live in housekeeping couple (3 bed cottage) sought for full time role on beautiful estate close to chippenham, wiltshire.
flexible, positive “hands on” housekeepers required as the position is busy when the family are at home but more relaxed/quiet when they are away (approx five months of the year). no cooking required. duties to include all housekeeping, cleaning, moping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry etc with great attention to detail. light household maintenance, laying fires, running errands also needed.
other staff employed to assist, so team players a must.
the ideal candidates will have minimum of 3 years previous experience with excellent references.
accommodation provided for the domestic couple would be a 3 bed cottage, for the housekeeper accommodation is either a self-contained studio flat or shared 2 bed cottage with another housekeeper.
one driver essential due to the rural location.
to work 5 days a week (including weekends) with 2 days off during the week.
approx. 9 hrs a day when family in residence and only 5 hrs when away.
salary negotiable from £70k-£80k according to experience.
