adecco is assisting local client recruiting for entry material handler associate in everett, wa. these material handler jobs are temp to perm!

 

job summary:

material handler jobs require candidates to work with small hand tools and assemble small parts as well as label and package product.

responsibilities:

manually perform and transact cycle counts in oracle and reconcile bad counts.

de-trash and present material to the production area ready for optimum use by the operator. 

use a pallet jack to move materials between receiving, factory floor and distribution center

expedite internal material requirements, transferring inventory to multiple locations.

collect, analyze, and report data from production processes requiring basic mathematical knowledge. counts, sorts, labels, and packages assembled materials.

expected to participate in continuous improvement and lean processes as appropriate

requirements:

able to lift up to 35lbs repeatedly

pallet jack or dolly

occasionally lift up to 50lbs.

ability to work as part of a team

prior experience working in material and kanban execution environments preferred

basic math (counting, addition/subtraction).

must be able to successfully complete a client specific background.
