Kitchen porter - united kingdom, abingdon, oxfordshire
we have a fantastic opening for a kitchen porter, monday to friday 9am to 5pm, great rate of pay and working hours in this relaxed kitchen.
main duties:
1) to ensure the kitchen is maintained in a clean state at all aspects of their duties.
2) assist the delivery of meals with crockery and cutlery at set times.
3) clean work surfaces, wash utensils and pans after use.
4) attend to any other tasks required of you by the chef on duty.
5) to ensure trolleys are de-scaled and kept hygienically cleaned at all times.
6) to ensure the food hygiene regulations are maintained at all times.
7) to ensure all records required to be maintained by you are done so accurately and legibly.
8) to ensure the kitchens are left clean at the end of your shift.
9) have due regard for their own health and safety and the health and safety of others. hazards, potential hazards, accidents and other untoward occurrences, faulty equipment etc should be reported to the senior person on duty and any necessary steps taken to prevent injury.
10) it is a requirement of employment that all staff actively participate in training programmes organised by the company.
11) have both vaccinations for covid-19 or we can arrange for you to have them on site in line with new care employment law.
