location: milford, oh

duration: 12 month contract

pay rate: $21/hour

responsibilities for this chemist position include:

responsible for performing accurate analytical tests in accordance with established company and astm procedures and/or other accepted methods.

performs a variety of routine sample preparation for icp, gc, and hplc

assists in setup of laboratory equipment and in recording data for experiments and procedures

must be proficient using microsoft outlook, excel, and word, and able to learn instrument software

laboratory experience preferred, and knowledge of chromatography would be beneficial

qualifications:

b.s. degree in a scientific field, and an interest in analytical chemistry

1+ years of experience in an analytical laboratory is preferred, though full training will be given

comfortable working independently, while maintaining a team focus

must have exceptional attention to detail
