summary

my son is a thirteen year old boy with severe learning difficulties. he needs help and care at all times to enable him to live a fulfilled life. he loves swimming, going for a walk, playing in the garden with his sister, listening to books read out loud to him or fun physical play. starting rate is 15 pounds per hour. we value your time and effort, and there is room for an increase of this amount. hours needed are all weekday afternoons from 3 pm to 8 pm. parents would remain on hand and support and train you as needed.

successful applicants will be entitled to holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.

description

typical duties

he needs care, support and supervision after he returns from school. he needs help with personal care, feeding, dressing, toilet, playing outside, going for walks and other activities. he takes some medication after school, however you do not require prior knowledge or training in how to administer medication. we provide training and shadowing experience.

· assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, getting ready for swimming, taking a bath or other similar care.

· outings to the beach or garden with close supervision.
