group teacher - mornings only (8am – 1 pm) or full-time (8am - 4.15pm) term time only

marmalade schools are looking for teachers to join our team of dedicated practitioners working at our outstanding nursery school in wandsworth, southwest london (sw17)

appropriate qualifications for this position would be someone who holds a full and relevant level 3, montessori diploma, teaching degree, early years foundation degree or eyps.

applicants must have excellent spoken and written english and hold a valid 12-hour paediatric first aid certificate.

the role involves the teacher taking full responsibility for a key group of children aged from 2 to 4 years of age.

the applicants will be working as part of one of our teams but will have sole responsibility for the safety of their key group as well as:

- observing, monitoring and evaluating the progress of each child in their key group

- planning appropriate opportunities and experiences for their key group

applicants will be required to have immediate safeguarding, child protection, prevent duty, illness and infection control, food safety and hygiene training and have their enhanced dbs processed.

applicants will need to show that they are skilled in working with parents.

applicants must have a good working knowledge of the eyfs and be keen to be part of a busy and vibrant school community.

the school offers many opportunities for ongoing training.

experience of working in early years within the uk system is necessary.

the position is term time only.

to start as soon as possible.

hours of work are 8am-1pm part time or 8am-4.15 full time.

salary is competitive

holidays can only be taken outside of the term dates.
