in need of a phlebotomist in bedford, tx!
job description:
shift start/end time: 8am - 5pm
dress code: solid color scrubs
must have: covid vaccination, tb, proof of mmr, tdap, dtap
where: bedford, tx 76021
specific duties:
1.preparing patients before drawing blood, explain and answer drawing procedures
2. follow all health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain sanitary work areas
3. stock medical testing materials, including needles, sample vials, blood storage bags and test tubes
4, verifying patient information and labeling blood samples properly
5. working with supervising physicians and following their directions at all times
must have qualifications/experience:
1. high school graduate or ged equivalent
2. current recognized phlebotomy certification
3. basic computer literacy required, with intermediate excel skills
4. good communication and customer service
5. experience with effective puncture techniques
