Inventory specialist - united states, springfield (massachusetts)
adecco staffing has an inventory specialist position available in andover, ma.
job responsibilities include:
conduct regular inventory counts and update inventory levels of on-site customer stock
work with customer procurement team to place orders for replacement stock to replenish inventory levels based upon pre-determined inventory levels and restocking plans
unpackage and check incoming inventory to ensure accuracy of order
re-stock inventory in appropriate storage once received
address any discrepancies or concerns through appropriate sales representatives and/or manager
closed toe shoes required (steel-toe not required)
must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly
work experience/requirements include:
2+ years of inventory management and customer service experience
working knowledge of erp and mainframe preferred
strong attention to detail and accuracy - required
strong organizational skills and time management skills
education:
high school diploma or ged - required
schedule:
monday through friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (with some flexibility)
pay:
from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour (based on skills and experience)
