we are looking for a nurturing, proactive, professional, and experienced full-time driving nanny who is committed and looking for a long term and able to join a wonderful, organised family. the family have three gorgeous children ages 5 months, 5 and 7 years old. the children are well behaved, engaged, and outdoorsy, and they would like a nanny who will encourage their educational development and help them to be kind, independent and well-mannered. if you also love to learn new things and are open-minded, adaptable, a good communicator and fun, this will be a great match for you.

the family are looking for someone who has experience with babies from 5 months, toddlers and school age children and can support the family over many years as the children get older. flexibility, kindness, being a team player and having a positive attitude is critical in their busy but friendly household where everyone mucks in. they have a full-time live-in housekeeper and require the nanny to support with nanny duties as well as pa duties for the children.

this is a sole charge position mainly focussing on the baby boy while the older girls are at school, but they also want a nanny who can care for all three children in the afternoons, do the school run and plan fun, exciting days out in school holidays. they also need their nanny to be highly organised and to take control of all admin related to the children. there is lots of support from family members too.

it is essential you are a confident driver (automatic car will be provided), have a fluent level of english and you genuinely love your job. occasional travel or proxy parenting may be required in the future but is not essential.

days: monday to friday

hours: 9 am – 7/7.30 pm monday to friday

pay: £50-55,000 gross per year

essential duties and responsibility:

cooking fresh meals for the children sometimes when required (vegetarian diet)
organising playdates/classes/activities both in term time and school holidays for the baby boy and the girls
enrich the children’s development as they get older and support with homework/reading/school projects
support the baby with weaning, sleep routines, reaching his milestones, general development, and toilet training
making lists of essentials for the children and possibly buying what is needed, including new books, toys, or games to enhance their learning
maintain wardrobe organisation and management for the children
driving the children to and from school, activities, and playdates
planning the children’s birthday parties and organising presents when needed
book appointments for the children as and when required; doctors, dentist, haircuts, eye checks etc.
