adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an absence & workforce health specialist position. 

 

type: 40hrs/wk.  contract

start date:  asap

location:  santa ana, ca (local candidates only)

pay: $34.61/hr

length: six (6) months with the possibility of extension

shift:  8:00am – 5:00pm

 

note:  this is a hybrid role.  no other options available.

responsibilities for this absence & workforce health specialist position include but are not limited to:   

 

demonstrate expertise in administrating leaves of absence, workers comp, ergonomics, and general liability insurance

act as a liaison between employees, managers, hr business partners, and vendors for leave of absence, workers comp, and ergonomic-related matters

educate and advise hr and managers of the leave of absence, workers comp, and ergonomic policies

ensure all federal, state, and local regulations related to leave of absence and workers comp programs are being applied

manage leave of absences

participate in projects

actively engage in strategic planning

develop and deploy educational materials and training
 

qualifications for this absence & workforce health specialist position:

 

strong pc skills

absence specialist experience

experience with ergonomics

strong communication skills
