Vehicle polisher - united kingdom, grimsby, lincolnshire

gi group grimsby are currently recruiting for experienced vehicle polishers to work within their clients oven rectification department in their well established vehicle body shop. the role is based on the industrial estate in grimsby.

the role offers a temp to perm opportunity working on a 4 on 4 off basis or night shifts.

the pay rates are as follows; (pay may vary based on skill set)

- 4 on 4 off shifts - £15.00 per hour

- nights - £16.00 per hour

for this role the right candidate must;

- have previous experience working in a similar role within a automotive body shop/garage.

- be able to show their skills based off their experience in previous roles. showing knowledge of any defects on the

vehicle panel paintwork.

- be able to work efficiantly against client standards.

- hold a full uk driving licence due to the requirement to move vehicles around the body shop.

- *beneficial* if you have any mechanical certificates please have these to hand as the client may want to see

these.

the job duties for the role are as follows;

- ensuring there are no defects in the finish polish job on the vehicle panels.

- exterior polishing of the vehicles using the right tools and materials for the job.

- carrying out the final polish of the freshly painted vehicle panels.

- carry out touch ups where needed/required.

- flat and polishing vehicle panels using a hand held polisher.

these positions are immediate starts and there is a great opportunity to go permanent with the client.
