gi group are working with a client offering a very unique position for somebody to come into a business and grow a new position. this person will be working with the md of the business so will have one on one coaching and offers a pathway to progression.

our client have built a bespoke cab computer software solution specifically for the fuel industry where the system is already in operation within 4,000 vehicles.

purpose of the role:

* to provide training for the drivers - class room style / in cab style / online

* to provide telephone support for issues reported - resolution will require the ability to remotely connect to the device in the field to assist with diagnosis and resolution

* to record issues raised on the help desk system

* communicate with the french developers of the system

* supporting the growth of the business through flexible approach to business tasks

skills and attributes:

* ability to communicate with drivers with varying degrees of technical competence

* have knowledge of the logistics industry / vehicle operation, equipment, regulations / fuel delivery processes / fuel delivery equipment and operation / mobile computers / application software

* independent minded as new company where processes and procedures need creating rather than being established

* great telephone manner

* great presenter

* communicate comfortably with drivers / schedulers / transport managers / it team

* process and admin driven providing accurate data and systems to the support and training issues
