adecco is assisting an intermodal services company for a current safety coordinator opportunity in both atlanta, ga, and charleston, sc. this is for a temp to hire opportunity. as a safety coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and overseeing of safety at work, and to ensure that the company complies and adheres to the company and regulatory requirements. apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!
responsibilities for this safety coordinator job includes, but are not limited to:
conduct and coordinate new driver orientations
provide support and serve as a backup to operations when needed
assist the recruiting coordinator with applicable tasks
support the training and certifying of the driver instructors and driver trainers
participate in recruiting qualified owner operators and company drivers
be an active partner and provide support for ongoing and corrective with action driver instruction and training
assist with accident investigations and reviews
provide support with the training and certifying of container lift and yard truck operators
qualifications:
organizational skills
effective communication (both verbal and written), organizational and time management skills
strong computer skills
ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
aptitude to multitask
basic clerical skills
what’s in it for you?

possess working knowledge of fmcsa
have a complete understanding of fmcsa part 395- hours of service of drivers
understand intermodal and transportation
8am – 5pm shift: monday thru friday
payrate of $20.00 per hour with weekly pay and benefits!
