adecco is working with our customer, located in akron, oh to fill supply chain planner positions.  our customer is a national manufacturer of engineered bearings and power transmission products.  these positions are long term temp with possibility to convert to fte.  this position is a good opportunity to get in the door at a solid company and grow your career.

job title – supply chain planner - we are looking for candidates to perform planning/ordering in supply assurance dept. 

duties include the exception inventory control

 

skill requirements

we are looking for candidates who have:

  • solid ability to prioritize and efficiently manage multiple responsibilities and tasks in an oftentimes ambiguous environment.
  • understanding of qsr/gmp practices. experience using manufacturing erp systems. sap experience is a plus.
  • comprehensive knowledge of the complete supply chain process. knowledge of material requirement planning processes and methodology.
  • strong numerical and analytical skills. quick learner & highly coachable.
  • strong interpersonal communication skills and experience and the ability to deal with plants and vendors.
  • must have strong excel skills - we are looking for candidates who can perform confidently:
  • editing, saving and opening a workbook
  • formatting cells
  • excel functions – vba, pivot, query
  • sorting data
