project overview

the climate ops team is responsible for ensuring that our company achieves 24/7 carbon-free energy and net zero emissions for our global infrastructure. this team works cross-functionally across our global operations and supply chain to develop and scale new solutions that accelerate decarbonization and help us meet our sustainability goals.

position overview/ overall responsibilities: 

  • support work on new contracts, including day­-to-­day project management (incl. liaising with legal) and creation of documentation 
  • independently lead market research and technology benchmarking in support of our carbon-­free energy and net zero initiatives, and gather data and consolidate results into actionable recommendations
  • participate in optimizing our team's operation: 
  • prepare material for management reviews, 
  • manage vendor contracts (incl. contract execution and invoicing), and 
  • help organize the team's day-­to-­day activities
  • skill/experience/education

    mandatory

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience
  • knowledge of energy industry and markets, and ability to perform research and analytics
  • exceptional program and project management skills, including identifying new concepts and leading execution across multiple stakeholders
  • desired

  • previous experience with corporate sustainability is a plus.
