immediate opening for an experienced financial analyst

location: must live local will be hybrid position in pittsburg pa

wages: based on skills, education and experience $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

education: aa or ba requested + 2+ years of accounting experience

hours: monday - friday 8:00 - 5:00 pm 

duration: temp to perm potential

sap, oracle, and general accounting skills required

financial analyst - general accounting

• accounting: performs general accounting activities, applying techniques and standards to solve unusual issues. journal entries, accruals, reconciliations (inventory, bank, prepaids etc.).

• analysis: executes accounting analyses and reports as assigned.

• reporting: ensures the production of reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations, statements of sourcing, and application of funds. process daily sales report, debtor, creditor, prepaid, grni/stock reports

• investigation: conducts investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary. initiate credit reports/credit references on potential sis

• financial transactions: applies accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions. receive vendor invoices in opera, invoice customers in opera, receive and apply cash to customer account

• internal controls: participates in internal control testing and prepares relevant documentation.

 

qualifications:

• an associate degree or a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with 2 or more years of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role.

• experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, including oracle, sap, or related financial systems.

• strong microsoft excel skills and demonstrate proficiency with other microsoft office products.

• outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
