the purpose of this planner role is to control stock levels and ensure the efficient least cost planning of a very fast-moving environment.

main responsibilities will include:

to manage the stock within both the order picking area and production to understand the manufacturing prioritiesproducing daily and weekly production plansidentifying any stock shortages and rectifying through plan amendmentworking closely with the procurement department to ensure optimum levels of raw material are available to achieve the plananalysing sales data, looking for sales trends and amending factory plans accordinglyto ensure the most cost-effective plan is produced minimising changeovers and production runskey performance indicators include:

this planner role would suit candidates with skills or experience in the following areas: planner, procurement, production planner, sales forecasting, fmcg, stock control, it literate, communication, planning, data analysis, reporting, erp, manufacturing, process management, commercial acumen.

a background in fresh chilled meat/poultry is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
