live out houseman/junior butler for private estate near cirencester

duties:

• cleaning

• performing small household repairs and assisting other staff members when needed

• wardrobe management

• packing and unpacking suitcases

• maintaining outside spaces

• valeting cars, shopping, running errands

• serving meals

• maintaining household appliances and other tools in working order

• washing windows, walls and ceilings as needed

• scheduling laundry services, room service, or newspaper delivery

• identifying and reporting maintenance issues and coordinating appropriate response

qualities:

• excellent organisational skills

• good communication skills and manners

• ability to lift heavy objects such as furniture or luggage

• ability to handle the daily duties in a residence, and ensure the smooth and orderly running of a residency and to fill in for the housekeeper if they call in sick, or assist the chef in preparation and serving for a formal dinner party

• ability to care for a residence’s grounds, including the main entry area of the house and the walkways

this ideal candidate would be someone who has an hotel / hospitality background, driven, has lots of enthusiasm and a good sense of humour.
