my highly successful and market-leading client is seeking a motivated individual to join their despatch team. the role will primarily involve supporting the smooth operation of the despatch department. you would be joining at a very exciting time as they are currently undergoing a significant investment in upgrading their factory.

main duties & responsibilities will involve:

* carrying out daily routine checks, including forklifts

* picking and collecting of customers' orders

* scanning of products and configuration of customer orders on to internal software

* ensuring that health & safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times

* communicating with other departments to complete orders

* ensure all tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively

* adherence to stock management

* organise daily picking requirements

* monitor accuracy during picking and loading/unloading of vehicles

* ensure customer orders are fulfilled and address any issues in advance

* assist in employee training and development

* maintain a clean and tidy work area

the ideal candidate will demonstrate

* previous experience in a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment

* attention to detail

* computer literacy

* excellent communication and team-work skills
