you will be responsible for website and application design, ux and ia strategies, planning and running workshops, designing campaign content, and contributing to digital-first brand identity development through working closely with the wider team.

welink communications (uk) ltd. is a company with a unique product suite from the usa that can provide 1gb/2.5gb broadband speeds using unique patented wireless fibre technology. we have bold plans to expand into uk wholesale, b2c, and b2b markets and the successful candidate will be required to provide support in a number of key areas. this is an exciting opportunity to join a well-funded company at the ground level as it launches a ground-breaking range of services which will revolutionalise the uk broadband market.

the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills, attributes, and experience:

solid understanding of user-centred design, balancing user and business needs design, wireframe, and prototyping skills confident in using industry-standard design applications to create complex interface designs whilst considering web limitations understanding of wcag accessibility levels and best practices for visual design experience working on small and larger scale projects across a range of mediums comfortable using html5, css3, and javascript skills for the creation of wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes experienced in using wordpress and associated applications experience of analysing, designing, developing, and testing information system applications using web technologies good understanding of gathering requirements, ux analysis techniques, for example user research, business process testing, user stories and customer journey mapping an understanding of mobile-first and responsive design confident and calm under pressure good communication skills excellent time management self-motivated with a can-do attitude thorough with an eye for detail analytical and demonstrate problem-solving skills.

key responsibilities

key responsibilities in this role will include but are not restricted to the following:

maintain and regularly update the company website with the latest news and content conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking create user journeys, user flows, sitemaps, and navigation able to clearly demonstrate your process, methodology and approach to ux design strategy conduct user interviews and research sessions, presenting back to the wider team to make informed design decisions make continuous improvements through running experiments, a/b testing, user testing and user feedback conducting qualitative and quantitative research responsible for ongoing cro and ia improvements

the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that they are aware of the security policies and procedures of the information security management system (iso27001) and how these specifically relate to the information resources they have access to.

all security events, whether suspected or actual, must be reported immediately to the information security manager on detection, without exception, including underperforming or broken processes that may lead to information leakage or a security breach.

responsible for ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with their requirements including:

ensuring that they fully understand and execute their responsibilities under the qms; ensuring that they know and understand the company quality policy; informing their department managers of any quality issues of concern. ensuring that they adhere to best practice.
