Process and quality engineer - united states, parkersburg

process and quality engineer  will own the finishing process in order to optimize performance, maximize material recovery, eliminate process waste, and improve productivity and conversion costs by identifying, implementing, and evaluating engineering and metallurgical solutions maintain and improve finishing processing practices to improve product capability and performance, process efficiency and material recovery.

this position is with a metals manufacturing industry in the coil group and will: 

?provide day -to-day technical expertise and support 

ensure appropriate technical practices, customer and special process specifications, furnace practices, and cqi-9 certification

identify and implement opportunities for process improvement through equipment modification, process improvement, and material changes 

support the departmental quality systems requirements  

ensure customer quality satisfaction  

expertise/experience desired: 

bachelor’s degree in engineering (metallurgy/materials science engineering strongly preferred)

1 to 3 years’ experience in metals manufacturing or closely related industries
