quality specialist/quality manager

your contribution to our success:

 

  • your main goal is to manage the quality related tasks in a new diehl metering production location with the support of corporate dm functions
  • ensure material compliance and product related certificate and approval
  • manage technical changes
  • perform incoming inspection
  • manage failed parts, ensure analysis, supplier claim management
  • manage legal marking and measuring equipment management
  • ensure customer factory acceptance test
  • you are responsible to ensure compliance with customer and legal requirements with the support of eu diehl team
  • you will implement global ims procedures in the location with the support of ims team
  • ensure awareness of global organization
  • define and release needed local instructions
  • ensure compliance with documented information rules and ensure intern audit management
  • ensure performance kpi’s are measured and monitored etc
  • you will perform internal audits to monitor efficiency of implemented processes
  • you are supporting the production of legal metrology related products, according to quality & customer requirements
  • you are responsible for implementation of measures to improve the quality of processes and products according to defined processes
  • you are first point of contact for suppliers and customers in quality related topics and manage the complaint management process
  • furthermore you support the controlling department for in the costing system regarding non quality costs
  • you will create an occupational health and safety instructions to fulfil legal requirements - instructions, trainings, and local procedures.

    you are right for us if you are:

     

  • you have a degree in engineering/from a technical school or a comparable education in quality or the operations field
  • you have several years of professional experience and knowledge of quality management tools (8d, fmea, ppap, others)
  • you are able to work with a very high degree of autonomy
  • you are experienced with implementing ims procedures and as well occupational health and safety rules
  • your personality displays a hands-on approach, who is encouraged by challenges and has a problem solving attitude
  • you have excellent communication skills in english, and possibly in either french or german
  • intercultural interest and awareness are indispensable
  • you have at least basic financial knowledge about product costing and have erp knowledge
  • willingness to travel to our international sites for business trips and work with the local teams as a must complete your profile
