Lpn licensed practical nurse - united states, fayetteville (arkansas)
we have an awesome contract to hire position for an lpn/lvn to join a leading company located in the springdale, ar area.
in this role you will provide clinical support functions and professional nursing care to patients in a clinic setting. you will be an active member of the health care team to assess patients’ needs, provide input into the plan of care, and implement prescribed interventions.
location: springdale, ar
competitive pay rates
schedule: 12 hour shifts 8am-8pm
primary responsibilities:
assess, screen, triage and perform treatment ordered for patients
perform medical treatment as ordered by provider or established standing orders
prepare and assist provider with dispensing prescribed medications (in states where applicable)
assists the provider with examinations, procedures and other duties
oversee and coordinate the daily patient care flow
assist patients as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam preparation, etc.
complete occupational health testing including such services as urine drug screens, breath alcohol testing, hair testing and physicals
complete patient referrals and patient callbacks daily
proper, concise and complete emr documentation and/or paper based documentation for all assessments and procedures
other duties as assigned such as new models of care and new types of procedures, etc.
required qualifications:
maintain hippa compliance.
required qualifications:
graduate of an accredited school for licensed practical or vocational nursing
current state lpn licensure and bls/cpr certification
1+ years of direct patient care experience
maintain ceu/cmes as applicable for licensure
preferred qualifications:
experience in urgent care, emergency room or critical care setting
current iv certification or must be willing to obtain within 90 days if required by state
experience with venipuncture and lab specimen collections
