experienced live in carer from poland is looking for a permanent job. i'm willing to travel and work anywhere in the uk. i am self-employed with all trainings updated, dbs on up to date service, references etc.

i have got eight years experience in taking care of the elderly in their own homes.

i have worked with people suffering from stroke, vascular dementia, alzhaimer, heart failure, incontinence, depression, anxiety, food disorders, deafness and diabetes. i'm also familiar with palliative care.

i'm experienced with using hoists (manual and ceiling), stand aid, wheelchair (manual and electric), slings, catheter, commode, shower hair, nebuliser and oxygene machine. i'm also familiar with healthy cooking and all household chores. i have two years experience in driving in the uk (automatic car)

i'm very patient, caring, kind, attentive and friendly. i'm also very emphatic. i can put myself in the place of who i'm caring for. i think it's very important because it lets me treat my clients with respect and help them to live with dignity in their own houses. people describe me as a very warm, easy going, positive and honest person with big sense of humor. i think of myself as of reliable and responsible person who can easily adapt to the environment and people around. i don't smoke and i don't like drinking alcohol. i'm a bookworm. i love spending my free time reading books. i also love nature in all it's aspects. i'm fond of animals and i wouldn't mind looking after pets.

i have also a friend who is a live-in carer with similar experience to mine. we can work as a team covering 24 hours shifts and our breaks/holidays etc. ideally for somebody who requires 24h/d care
