Food truck crew needed for union of genius - united kingdom, leith, edinburgh
we’re looking for a crew member for our food truck - our citroen h-van, dumbo.
union of genius are edinburgh’s soup specialists - we have a café in forrest road, our kiosk on calton hill, a production kitchen in leith from where we supply wholesale soup to lots of edinburgh cafes, and our vintage citroen h van, dumbo. dumbo trades each day from george square, serving lunchtime soups and chillies to university students and staff.
the van crew post is a permanent, full-time job, with an immediate start (if possible). the hours are 9.15 – 4.15pm, monday-friday.
the crew post offers an hourly rate of £10/hour.
you’re a cheery, hardworking, organised, quick-thinking team member who thrives on variety, loves food and flavour, relishes being in a customer service role and enjoys getting the job done.
for applicants who have held a driving licence for at least 3 years and who are 25+, the hourly rate will be £11 if you’re willing to drive our old, original french, left-hand-drive h-van. this is optional and absolutely not a criteria for application.
