the role is to support myself as an individual within my own comfortable home

location: inverness

start date: october

salary: £10.50 plus holiday pay entitlement & pension

hours: i operate two shifts 9am-4pm and 6pm-7am. i am looking for somebody to cover 2 or 3 flexible nightshifts per week and also two flexible dayshifts per week. you will also be given the chance to cover sickness, holidays etc

i’m an outgoing, creative and inspiring gentleman with a good sense of humour looking for a carer/companion to assist me with all aspects of daily living. ideally, you should be a positive, caring and enthusiastic individual who is confident working on a 1 to 1 basis and also able to step up and help each other to cover sickness, holiday leave etc.

you should be experienced with the tasks of lifting and handling, i.e. using an overhead ceiling electric hoist, transfers in and out of bed or bath, continence care, getting dressed etc.

you must also be able to cook and help me maintain my home as you would your own.

this job entails working in a very relaxed atmosphere. it's very different from working in some environments where there are time constraints.
