Housekeeper - united kingdom, loughton, essex
seeking a daily housekeeper/nanny in loughton, essex (mon-fri) for a busy professional family with 2 school-aged children to maintain their property and manage smooth running of the household. we are looking for an organised, positive and proactive housekeeper who enjoys keeping a clean and organised home and helping with children. ideal candidate needs to have experience domestic cleaning, managing a house, working with children and have first aid qualifications or be willing to take first aid qualification and genuinely enjoy looking after a busy household and spending time with children. a car will be provided for someone without.
working hours: monday to friday (40 hour week)
full time employment £24,000 per year + 20 days holiday
overtime for occasional evening and weekend childcare paid hourly pro-rata
duties include:
assisting with morning routine for the children and walking or driving to school
cleaning the house to high level detail – bathrooms, kitchen, floors, bedrooms
washing and ironing all clothes and bedding
weekly grocery shopping and errands (dry-cleaning)
assistance with meal preparation and snacks/meals for children
organising cupboards, toys and changing bedsheets
daily walk with our miniature schnauzer (dog)
managing contractors around the house – gardener, window cleaner, upholstery clean
