our client, a large engineering company requires a mechanical fitter to support their ongoing projects. reporting to the site supervisor, you will be involved with maintenance, repairs, servicing tasks, fault finding, interpreting engineering drawings, assembly and rebuild of parts, testing, cleaning, oiling and greasing of machinery, operating overhead cranes and working in line with the maintenance schedule. previous experience of working with gasket joints, valves, vessels, filters, pumps, gearboxes. you must have a mechanical engineering apprenticeship and valid safety passport- must have upto date cscs or ccnsg no digs provided local trades only please
