our client is offering a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced hands-on butler/housekeeper, with a twist. you’ll be at the heart of providing the very best experience for our guests in this stunning 10 bedroom manor house in the cotswolds.

responsible for maintaining exacting standards in both housekeeping and guest experiences you will have an amazing eye for detail and have a passion for delivering top class service. with a natural affinity with structure and discipline you will have integrity, can do attitude and excellent communication skills –easily blending into the background, whilst being ready for action as needed.

at this estate they work at a fast pace, and you will always be one step ahead, expecting the unexpected as you deliver exceptional service.

duties:

proven relevant experience including, front of house service, meeting, greeting and looking after guests
a range of service experience, including butler, silver, tray, bar cellar management of fine wine and spirits
ability to maintain cleanliness throughout the home
experience of caring for silver, china, glassware, antiques and other specialist items
ability to serve food and drinks whilst always ensuring a professional service
enthusiasm for what you do with a can-do attitude
excellent people skills
be a team player with a sense of fun and a focus on high quality service
genuine passion for creating an exceptional experience
good sense of humour
great eye for detail

additional information

35 hours a week with flexibility required around weekends
salary negotiable in the region of £35,000-£40,000
immediate start
1 bedroom flat is available for a live-in staff
