Hair stylist - united kingdom, liverpool street, london

based in the heart of spitalfields in the city of london, we are looking for an experienced hair stylist to join our team.

working on a self-employed basis with us, you will be joining a friendly and welcoming team, within a well established, fun and vibrant salon which has the main aim of providing a high level of services for a diverse range of clients.

your main responsibilities will be:

welcoming and consulting with clients to find the best style to suit them
offering suggestions, ensuring the service is best for the client at all times
applying colouring techniques including balyage, highlights
cutting both men and women's hair, using a range of techniques and equipment
applying treatments such as olaplex
building and maintaining a client base, encouraging re-booking
cross-sell hair care products or services, when appropriate
being flexible for walk in clients
ensuring stations are kept clean and tidy at all times and adhering to salon procedures.

you will need:

experience working as a stylist and colorist
up to date and interested in the latest techniques, trends and products
familiarity with hair treatment products and services, like keratin smoothing

excellent communication and customer service skills
flexibilty and willingness to cover where needed
availability to work evenings and weekends.
