live in aupair required for a family with two kids. two year old and six year old boys

tasks, schedule and pocket money:

salary: £150 per week.

tasks/schedule:

before and after school care monday - thursday for 2 children (2 years old and 6 years old)

in addition full day monday 9am - 5pm with 2 year old.

one evening twice a month babysitting in the evening.

light housekeeping and keeping place tidy (we have a cleaning lady so not a lot but we do ask that you clean up after yourself and the kids)

about us:

i am an interior designer and my husband works at ikea in the marketing department. we are both swedish but i was born and brought up in london and my husband moved over here 6 years ago. we are an easy going fun family and live in, what we think is the most vibrant, up and coming area in hackney, east london with its youthful flair and creative spirit. we are looking for a fun and enthusiastic au pair to live with us in our newly refurbished home and help us out with our little ones! we are looking for someone with lots of energy who loves playing and running about with our energetic little boy ted and the toddler. we hope you have some experience with kids and toddlers.

our living situation:

we have a 4 bedroom, 3 storey house and the top floor is almost like a private flat as its far from the ground floor which would where your room would be. the house has just been lovingly refurbished by us so we hope you will like it.

daily routine:

my husband and i go to work each day so you would take our son to school for 8.45am and then take care of our baby in the day. we get home at 5pm and so does ted most days. (as he has clubs tues -thurs) weekends are yours to explore london! we ask if you could babysit one night a week also.

what we do in free time:

ted our boy, has lots of energy and loves playing football on a saturday with his club and climbing trees and we love going on bike rides together now with the baby on the back through the marshes. teds school is just down the road so he has local friends as do we and we often go to pubs and restaurants.

our region: hackney is the most vibrant and fun part of london. we live in lower clapton which is the end nearest shoreditch and the city and all that has to offer. chatsworth road is minutes away and has a lovely local vibe with the market on sunday and lovely local shops, pubs and restaurants. broadway market and london fields is a 15 minute walk and is a hive of culture and entertainment with the busy market on saturday and london fields heaving with energy on the weekends. we are surrounded by parks, victoria park, clissold park, hackney downs, millfields and have the hackney marshes moments away which is wonderfully wild. london fields lido and the aquatic centre in stratford are close by for swimming. hackney central overground is a 5 minute walk and bethnal green tube is a short bus ride away which takes you into the centre of town

other things to know: we keep a nice and tidy home, and clean well.
