set amongst the grandeur of an iconic grade ii listed building which was once a cinema and a theatre, pryzm in kingston upon thames provides its customers with the ultimate clubbing experience a short distance from london. the stunning ballroom is the jewel in this venue’s crown, where many famous artists and djs have performed over the years. customers enjoy the latest dance hits in the pryzm main room, retro classics are played in the disco room and rnb hits are found in the curve room. the venue is equipped with the latest sound and light technology complimenting the stunning décor and luxury vip areas.

what can you do for us?

to assist the management team by ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the operation whilst maintaining brand standards and values. to provide excellent guest service and help to increase sales revenue by providing a friendly, informative welcome to all guests. our bar staff are at the heart of our operation so the post holder must be able to work well under pressure and maintain the highest level of standards at all times.

the right candidate will be self-motivated, a good communicator, well presented, professional, with excellent operational standards and attention to detail, and should lead by example.

your duties will include but are not limited to:

· provide outstanding guest service;

· serve drinks in a friendly and timely manner;

· keep working areas clean and tidy;

· operating computerised till and pdq systems;

· ensure that all spillages and broken glass when they occur are dealt with immediately;

· assist with any opening and closing requirements for the bars;

· adhere to the company’s cash handling policies when taking payments;

· ensure all work is completed to the highest standard

· ensure that licensing training is fully completed and that all service to guests is in line with such legislation; and

· complete all company training as and when required.

all applicants must be well presented, professional, a good communicator with excellent overall operational standards. candidates must be 18+ as the role includes serving alcohol, and eligible to work in the uk.

this is a part time permanent role that will see you working shift patterns that include evenings and weekends, so you must be flexible in terms of the hours required of you. this is by no means a 9 to 5 role and all applicants should take this into consideration before you apply. our team love what they do! we have a passion for providing an experience second to none. we look to our leaders to feel the same way and ensure this passion is installed throughout the business.
