adecco is hiring immediately for a technical writer with a local client in santa clara, ca. technical writers perform essential duties with pay starting at $48.00/hour, plus available overtime. in this role, you will be responsible for developing new product technical documentation and updating legacy product documentation for semiconductor equipment, sourcing relevant content knowledge from databases, pre-existing documents, tool builds, and subject matter experts to create, develop, update and publish highly accurate complete and concise product and service document in a timely manner, develop and author technical documents while adhering to publication processes and style guides.
requirements:
bachelor’s degree required
1 – 3 years’ experience in technical writing
excellent english language, written and verbal communication skills
proficient in technical publishing software:
dita xml: oxygen editor (not mandatory, but good to have)
content management system (cms): sdl tridion docs, sharepoint, teams
illustration: snagit, adobe illustrator, ms paint
adobe suite: framemaker, acrobat pro dc
ms office suite: word, powerpoint, excel, and outlook
ability to work in a cross-functional organization and multitask on multiple projects
must be a quick learner, self-starter, with strong attention to detail, and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
may require 10% travel.
