their support engineers provide direct network, desktop and server technical support in a fast paced, team oriented, 24x7, worldwide environment. they are a young, dynamic and rapidly growing cloud services provider, working with the latest technologies to bring some of the most innovative products to their customers across the globe.

they already have an experienced and innovative team and are looking to add a passionate and committed support engineer team leader to work with new and existing clients.

key responsibilities:

provision of line management to 1st & 2nd tier support analysts
3rd line tier support
undertake regular staff performance reviews in line with company procedures, including development and monitoring of relevant training plans
provide ad hoc feedback to staff and deal with staff matters as they arise
regular monitoring, management and review of team and individual performance in line with the service desk business plan.
interview, assess and recruit staff (as required) in line with the service desk business plan and budget
provide an escalation point and technical assistance to staff on operational issues and general queries
prioritise and manage team workload and resource to ensure all deadlines are achieved
maintain an up-to-date skills matrix for staff
provide coaching to staff to deliver quality customer service
build a cohesive, integrated team that maximises potential and creates flexibility, as well as maintaining a positive working environment

experience, skills and qualifications:

the successful candidate will be an experienced service desk engineer with excellent written and verbal english skills.
knowledge of microsoft based systems
experience using microsoft azure
knowledge of voip including sip trunks (3cx)
knowledge of lan, wan, nat, wireless, firewalls, vlan’s
positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to make sure that issues get resolved completely.
experience with citrix and microsoft remote desktop services
strong understanding of ssl technologies including certificates, handshakes and ciphers
knowledge in networking router and switch equipment (ubiquiti and cisco) knowledge of office 365 and azure
working knowledge of 3cx
flexible in working various shifts (evenings and weekends)
