Multiple chefs required for multiple locations. all levels - united kingdom, clydebank, west dunbartonshire

sixty ate bar & kitchen are recruiting multiple chefs for positions across our company.

we have multiple positions based in clydebank, erskine and bishopton.

sous chef:

the successful candidates will be expected to work alongside the head chef to manage daily kitchen

activities including, overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality, freshness and monitoring ordering and stocking. providing exceptional meal quality and consistency by following designated recipes.

the sous chefs duties will include:

leading the kitchen team in the head chef's absence
provides guidance to junior kitchen staff members
oversees and organizes kitchen stock and ingredients
ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours
manages food and product ordering by keeping required records and minimises waste
supervises food preparation and presentation to ensure high quality and restaurant standards
works with head chef to maintain kitchen organization
coordinates with restaurant management team to ensure the efficient running of service

job specs:

40 hours per week
5 days over 7 including weekends
weekly pay plus equal share of tips
annual holiday allowance

chef de partie:

experience in a fast paced fresh food kitchen is essential.

responsibilities will include-

planning and executing menus in collaboration with other colleagues.
ensure adequacy of supplies at all times.
place orders in a timely manner.
manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis.
follow the directions of the head and sous chef.
