adecco is hiring immediately for a first chef with a local client in atlanta, ga. the first chef performs essential duties with pay starting at $35.00/hour.
responsibilities:
cooking meat, fish, starches, vegetables, and vegetarian dishes
a repertoire of different international and ethnic cuisine
stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food product at line station to assure a smooth service period
must be able and willing to receive and put away deliveries, clean and organize the fridges and rotating produce, and maintain fridges temperature checks on a daily basis
good knife skills are essential
to be able to work standing up for a long period of time
culinary skills and technic for preparing small and large quantities of food.
requirements:
chef experience required
experience in preparing dessert from scratch is a plus
ability to follow standardized recipes, the initiative to maintain a clean work environment, and motivated
previous customer service - hospitality experience, host or hostess experience a plus
ability to communicate effectively with a customer friendly attitude; out-going personality, motivated and a team player
excellent presentation
must be punctual, reliable, and able to work in a team environment
attention to detail
